Life Without Plastic
Plastic has progressively invaded every nook and cranny of our planet over the course of the last 50 years. It is found in the ground where we live, in the water we drink, in the air we breathe and even in the blood that circulates in our body.
In discussing the impact of plastic on the health of our planet and the living beings it supports, Chantal Plamondon, co-author of the book Life Without Plastic: The Practical Step-by-Step Guide to Avoiding Plastic to Keep Your Family and the Planet Healthy, proposes daily actions you can take to significantly reduce your personal plastic footprint.
Chantal Plamondon is president and co-founder of Life Without Plastic, a website offering durable, ecological, plastic-free products. It was after the birth of her son that Chantal discovered the health dangers of plastic, particularly on the health of nursing infants, but also on the health of the planet in general. She founded the online boutique with her partner, Jay Sinha, in 2006. With a strong presence in the United States, this enterprise is the leading site offering plastic-free products at the global level. Chantal studied law at McGill University and management at HEC, and has dedicated herself to growing a sustainable enterprise in the North American market.
