Menstruations zéro déchet
Öko Créations, Mme L'Ovary and ZWF
This session will allow women to learn about various alternatives, tools and practices to have zero waste menstruation. We will explore:
The numerous benefits of giving up disposable sanitary products and the key role of the menstrual cycle to our well-being
How to live with a menstrual cycle that aligns with our values of being healthy and respects the wisdom of our body
How to make menstruation POSITIVE and thereby change the world, drop by drop, month by month….
Take advantage of this opportunity to ask your questions and share with other women who, like you, are interested in the zero waste lifestyle.
Érica Athena Lebrun, Mme L'Ovary
A young Montrealaise entrepreneur who believes in the axiom: ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’, Erica co-founded Mme L’Ovary, an initiative that promotes a massive reduction in waste generated on the Earth by providing a concrete solution to disposable sanitary products.
Mélanie Beetz, Öko Créations
Mélanie co-founded the family enterprise Öko Créations in 2009. Her career in health sciences, combined with a childhood bathed in the smell of fabric and the noise of sewing machines, brought her to the path of a business in textile creation. Öko Créations offers a range of zero waste products for the entire family. Their mission is to help people in their transition to a lifestyle that is more ecological and sustainable, all using choice materials made of hemp and organic cotton. The collections are entirely conceived and constructed in Canada under ethical work conditions.
Camille Stringer, Zero Waste Festival
She will host this session.
